Should I carpet directly over my hardwood floors?

Some people would pull the hardwood floors up, but that is not necessary. Since hardwood floors are normally even and level, it is possible to put your carpet directly to your hardwood floors. You just have to tack the carpet directly into your hardwood floors and also into the edging
