Should I use paint or an epoxy for my garage flooring?

Answered By Fran Fratelli, Editor

Both paint and epoxy have the same costs, so there is really nothing to deliberate on that part. The big difference between the two is the amount of paint you will need than epoxy since paints must have more than one layer to hold up. The main difference between paint and epoxy is the labor needed to finish your garage flooring.

If you want your garage flooring to look like a real garage, choose epoxy. However, if you are concerned more on the color and the aesthetic value, go for the paint where you can have great selection of colors appropriate for your garage flooring.
